This thing also synthesizes 3D from 2D images. You can watch regular TV or DVD’s/Blu-Ray, or any of the streaming functions in 3D if you want. It actually does a pretty good job and for the life of me I couldn’t tell you how they pull it off. It’s basically magic. For true 3D input it is absolutely amazing. You also have the ability to adjust the apparent depth to the 3D effect.
Outstanding TV. The only problem I found is in attaching a DVD-VCR to it where the picture is black and white when connected to “component IN” in the back. When attached to the side connection the color returns.
PS – the TV adapter (if you want internet through your tv as opposed to through the blue ray) is $80 which is much less then the $300 extra to have it on the TV. Although, get an adapter with good signal reception.
~ DO NOT expect a great picture on regular cable channels.. Get HD (a receiver from your cable company) – they are normally an extra $5ish per month.

Dreadful. Judging from the first paragraph, this novel had the potential for being absorbing and a good holiday read. I was soon only making my way through it because I had nothing else to read and I kept thinking it must get better since it came highly recommended. If only I had had something better than this time waster: lazy plot that never seemed to go anywhere because it went in too many irrelevant directions, little firsthand knowledge of the circus, low-level vocabulary. A waste of time on a good topic.
My one complaint would be that the sometimes the stereoscopic picture will turn on mechanically when I plug in the ipod and but commence playing. Not a big deal though – I only essay and make a point of making sure the book is turned down low when I turn it off. I as well wish it had come with a transporting case for the faceplate – but these can be obtained for ten spot dollars or less.
