This book will resonate deeply in all those whom are ready to access your inner voice. It’s logical and meaningful. If you are looking for answers that make you say “wow, that feels right”,….answers that you can’t find in societies ‘religious institutions’ you have found the right book!
Great insights into the world of Linux, including what must be the best Hands-On Projects sections for any Linux book. Only complain is that the Title is misleading (not to be confused with LPI’s General Linux I) and that the information could be better organized. What I mean is that the book tries to cover too much ground–claims that you can use it for LPI, SAIR/GNU and RHCE exams–NOT!!
If you can navigate without the benefit of a proper system which maps the exam objectives, perhaps, but my advise is not to rely solely on this book if you wish to attain some form of certification under your belt. Otherwise, this book provides a top-rated section for practical lab exercises and some gems, but you gotta dig real hard for it and be able to recognize it too!
First, it arrived early, in good shape.
I found this game console very interesting, and a lot of fun. It came with the “Wii Sports” game. I highly recommend to make sure this game comes with it if you purchase a game console. The sports game by itself sell’s for around $50.00, So getting it makes this package a fare deal.
It gets used everyday, keeps a record of what you’ve done and estimates your age “according” to your performance at a random collection of activity’s that it picks out for you to do. Get a few people together and it can really be a lot of fun. Some of my friends have bought one since they played ours.
It has everything built in to connect to your wireless internet. It found it and connected without any problems, very easy, and nothing extra to buy. Has it’s own weather and news channels (and of course shopping channel). Now we send e-mail and pictures to our friends and family using the Wii. And it show’s up on their Wii.
One thing, you can only play certain games on the internet against others, and there aren’t that many of them yet.. That’s about the only little negative thing I can think of… and I’m sure there will be more “internet play” games coming out.
I recommend this game, for everyone, children and adults. It’s an active game, not just pushing buttons.
Microsoft decided it was time to change paradigms and go with a “menuless” system with Office 2007. This may make it easier to the most basic of users to get started using some things, but for anybody that is comfortable with previous versions of office or needs more than “the basics” this thing is a disaster. The addition of OneNote is of dubious value unless you have a tablet PC, and the removal of Outlook leaves users searching for another solution or moving to online solutions since Outlook Express (or even the replacement Windows Live Mail) does not cover more than the basics.
It is functional, and can do most of what you want it to do, but Microsoft Office Home and Student Edition is a serious misstep. If you are comfortable with previous versions of Office, you might be more comfortable with OpenOffice, which has the Office 2003 look and feel… and is FREE for the full suite, not a paired down collection.
I love this it is so thin and light weight and then the cost savings on buying new books is great! I have 4 overloaded book cases in my house and now I don’t have to buy another one ever again!!
I am disappointed in the product in that I never received it. I found a good deal on it through Amazon and elected to utilize the free super saver shipping but the package was empty. The envelope wasn’t very heavy and appeared to have sustained damage and opened up sometime during shipping or processing via the USPS. Upon arrival in my mail box, it was inside a seperate “apology” plastic bag from the USPS with no contents. I attempted to resolve the issue through the post office and also sent an email to the vendor prior to this review but met with no success. I PAID BUT NEVER RECEIVED THE PRODUCT – JUST AN EMPTY ENVELOPE!
