Ok, so I can get that you are not one of the rpg fans that loved DAO combat, pausing, game tactics, etc. However, although your opinion is a bit of a balance you’ve decided to go downhill. This same review could’ve get 4/5 easily, if only because of preference in which elements are more important.
You say its got a Bioware story, even with better writing in some areas, that ME 2. Sold. That’s it for me, mainly because DAO wasn’t meant for consoles, it wasn’t meant to play like an action adventure game. Bioware game has reluctantly done these changes and the “casual” rpg-adventure gamer dislikes it because Bioware has gone to the mix.
