I researched so many carpet cleaners and after months, I picked this one. I chose this because of 1) price, 2) the ability to also clean hard floors, 3) the hand tools that come with it, and 4) the other reviews.
I own two dogs in a house with white carpet (was there when I bought the house about 1.5 years ago). You can imagine what the carpet looked like. I ran this over the carpet maybe 3-4 times before the water stopped coming up jet black. Now the water appears grayish, so the amount of dirt trapped in the carpet must be less. My carpets are brighter and the general smell of the carpeted areas is much better. This cleaner does NOT heat the water and no steam is involved. However, this machine does emit hot air so the carpet dries faster.
I have not tried this on hard floors because you have to buy a hard floor attachment. It is inexpensive (around 10 dollars) but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.

The Furminator removed so much hair from our short-haired mixed breed I couldn’t believe it. We looked JUST like the picture on the product package when we got done. So pleased all that hair won’t be in my house.

Our dog likes to be brushed, so she loved it, but our old dog, who hated brushes would never have stood for it. If you dog doesn’t like the pin type brushes, they won’t enjoy this either.

This has got to be the best pet product I’ve bought ever and I highly recommend it!
