his is the best damn cell phone, ever… I have owned many a cell phone but this is the best by far. but we all knew that. Now lets be negative for a miniute. One, its on the att network. That sucks! att service is the worst but it really makes up for its reception by working very hard at keeping in touch with the towers. 2 You have to pay for a GPS service… really? you cant give me a decent turn by turn gps program? I have to pay 25-50 dollars to get this? ook. 3 that antenna problem that it has. If you touch the bottom left side of the phone it goes dead. Ok this phone is like the best but if you touch the edge of the phone all hell breaks loose… couldnt you have done something about that people? really.

I’m using this in an MFC-9840CDW color-laser all-in-one. The toner cartridges have excellent life (five users in the household), are reasonably priced, and fairly simple to replace. I’ve had my unit three years and this was my third black cartridge replacement (12/09). We put a LOT of paper through this unit.
Also nice that Brother provides printable return shipping labels (at their website) that allow you to send the spent unit back to them at no charge in the box the new one came in.

I bought these cables for my Samsung HD TV to connect a Blue Ray Player and Cable DVR. The key to a great signal without interference is the length of the cable. If all you need is a six foot connection, these cables work fine, however, I will admit the monstrous cables and high tech looking cables look much, much better, but heck, who sees them? They are behind the TV! If you are seeking longer cables, 8, 10 or 12 feet in length, I would recommend spending the extra money (and a lot of it). For 90% of television users who want or need HDMI cables, these are perfect.

I looked everywhere for this and was so happy when I found it here on Amazon. It’s nice to revisit an old favorite while driving down the road, giving me a great alternative to the garbage that’s on the radio. It was a little expensive but it is worth it for this hard to find gem.

A novel relevant to teens today and one that will be relevant for years to come is The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger. Taking place in the 1950s, the novel follows the narrator, seventeen-year-old Holden Caulfield, as he fails out of yet another prep school during his struggle to find his place in this world of “phonies.” He is stuck between childhood and adulthood, unable to make the transition, and fearing that he too will become one of these “phonies.” Through Holden and his predicament, Salinger portrays the theme of the loss of childhood innocence and fear of growing up that many teens experience every day.
As Holden encounters difficulties with roommates, relatives, and relationships, teenage readers can connect to his problems and understand his feelings and desire to remain young. He shares the confusions of sex, love, and overall morality, unable to understand what is right. Although some argue that the language of the novel is too harsh, profane, and perhaps unnecessary; it is through this tone that young readers relate. This abrasive dialogue helps to show that Holden is not some perfect prep school kid but an everyday teen who makes mistakes and fears what the future may hold. At first he seems to have a tough and almost rebel-like exterior, but as readers learn of his close relationship to his little sister Phoebe and the pain he feels concerning the death of his brother, it becomes evident that underneath the façade is a caring and loving heart.
A truly timeless work of literature, Holden and his dilemmas are a model for many. Highly recommended, Salinger’s The Catcher in the Rye tackles the quandary that all teens face as they transition into adulthood, encouraging them to be true to themselves and avoid becoming just another “phony” of today’s world.
