I have had the camera 2 days. Finally upgraded from standard point-and-shoot. The camera is awesome so far. Very happy with the purchase, and look forward to learning about better photography.

Recommended as a first-time DSLR, the T3i has ample features. There is so much to do with this camera. As soon as I learn one feature, it’s on to the next exciting one. Takes gorgeous photographs. Just last night, I took some outstanding low-light shots that were exciting for a newbie like me, and would not have been do-able with a standard point-and-shoot.

I really like the swivel on the live view when doing video clips, which was another reason I chose this camera over competitive models. You can use the live view to shoot stills as well, but I’m trying to learn the manual features and the viewfinder to get better acquainted with the camera. Just an FYI, you will need an SDHC card with a Series 6 rating or higher to do video. You can get a 16GB card on Amazon for a reasonable price.

The stock lens seems to be fine as I am learning to use the camera. I plan on upgrading the lens once I get more comfortable with it. Again, there are some good values on Amazon for Canon lenses (just search ‘Canon Lens’ and you’ll see the most popular buys).

In closing, I took a long time to research and decide whether or not getting into a DSLR was worth it for me. Having now made the purchase, I can say without hesitation that it was well worth the money. Especially for a beginner like me, the T3i is a great camera.

This is my second pair of Frye boots. Overall, these are very sturdy boots. The leather is very tough and stiff. I wear these for fashion not for hard work. I’m hoping they loosen up a bit. They are comfortable in the footbed. Because the leather is stiff, the boots rub sometimes on the heels and around the top.

I’m very happy with the shaver now that I’ve had some time to use it. For a long time I’ve found that Braun has some of the only shavers that work well for my beard. This one has lots of flexibility and works very well. I was not interested in the big cleaning accessory that comes with most of Braun’s shavers now. I can’t really figure out the justification for it other than to sell the consumables that go with it. This one is fine as long as I blow it out after each use and periodically spray a bit of lubricant on it.

Where has this razor been all my life. No more razor burn and ingrown hairs. This razor shaves closer than a blade (for me) without the irritation and I love the auto cleaner/lubricator base. Best razor I’ve every use, worth the 200 bucks. Only had it a month so can’t rate it’s durability yet but seems to be well constructed. I find the expense of the replacement cleaner cartridges very reasonable in a multi pack and the replacable foil bladehead is claimed to last 18 months.

While I really wish this came with the watch purchase it is definitely something you will want to invest in for your F60 Polar watch. It is incredibly simple to use.

I bought this to replace my Polar F6. I loved the F6, but I wanted a watch that did lap times as well.

The RS300X was a great upgrade. It’s comfortable, and the display is very large and easy to read while running. I added the Flowlink unit, and that makes the watch almost perfect. Uploading my training data to the Polar website is as easy and laying my watch down on the Flowlink unit.

The only reason I gave this heart rate monitor 4 stars instead of 5 is that I’m a big guy (about 230), and the transmitter belt is a little short for me. It makes it a little uncomfortable to wear. Not painful or anything, just a bit more snug than the transmitter belt that my F6 had.
